LE 4 SEPTEMBRE 2024<\/strong> \u2014 Les membres d’Old Massett auront d\u00e9sormais l’opportunit\u00e9 d’obtenir un financement pour l’accession \u00e0 la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce au Fonds pour les habitations du march\u00e9 des Premi\u00e8res Nations (FHMPN), gr\u00e2ce aux efforts consid\u00e9rables du Conseil de village d’Old Massett et de Northern Savings Credit Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’objectif du FHMPN est d’aider \u00e0 cr\u00e9er la capacit\u00e9 au sein des communaut\u00e9s des Premi\u00e8res Nations pour soutenir et maintenir des programmes de logement bas\u00e9s sur les pr\u00eats, ce qui permet aux membres de construire, r\u00e9nover ou acheter une maison dans leur communaut\u00e9 en r\u00e9serve. \u00c0 ce jour, en collaboration avec 41 % des Premi\u00e8res Nations au Canada, le Fonds a soutenu environ 7 000 pr\u00eats immobiliers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Northern Savings travaille comme pr\u00eateur participant avec le FHMPN depuis 2016 et a fourni un financement pour l’accession \u00e0 la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 aux membres de Skidegate depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es. Lareina Woode, directrice de la succursale de Masset de la coop\u00e9rative de cr\u00e9dit, a travaill\u00e9 dur pour \u00e9tablir la connexion pour les membres d’Old Massett et ces efforts ont enfin port\u00e9 leurs fruits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Comme l’a dit Dorothy dans Le Magicien d’Oz, rien ne vaut son chez-soi<\/em>. Pour les membres d’OMVC, cette citation c\u00e9l\u00e8bre s’appliquera d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 eux car le nouveau programme d’accession \u00e0 la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 leur offrira l’opportunit\u00e9 de r\u00e9aliser leur r\u00eave de devenir propri\u00e9taires dans la communaut\u00e9 \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Scott Flamand, au nom du Fonds pour les habitations du march\u00e9 des Premi\u00e8res Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
