Lender Request – Credit Enhancement

Lender Certification

The lender requests a Credit Enhancement by the First Nations Market Housing Fund for the loan described above. The Lender warrants and represents, and it is a condition of the Credit Enhancement:

1. That the lender is prudently satisfied that:
   • in the case of a request for credit enhancement on a homeownership unit, the borrower has the equity, income and creditworthiness to fulfill obligations under the loan;
   • in the case of other requests for credit enhancement, the borrower has the financial capacity, knowledge and experience to market and manage the project; and
   • if applicable, the borrower has or can retain the experience and expertise to construct, improve, repair, rehabilitate, convert or alter, as the case may be, the loan property;
2. That the loan will comply with the requirements of the Credit Enhancement Agreement for Eligible Housing Loans; and
3. That to the best of the Lender's knowledge, the First Nation is not in default under any guarantee that it has issued to any Lender in relation to the First Nations Market Housing Fund.

The First Nations Market Housing Fund reserves the right to reconsider whether it will provide a Credit Enhancement for the loan where there is any change in the particulars provided in the request.
